The number of victims who died as a result of the landslide caused by heavy rain in Indonesia has risen to 19 people, and seven missing persons are still being searched for. The authorities of the country continue rescue operations in the affected areas.
The landslide occurred after several days of heavy rains on the island of Java. After the destructive natural event, homes were buried under the earth, leading to loss of life and injury to many people.
"The hardest consequence is the loss of people and the destruction of homes," emphasized the governor of the province. "Our condolences go out to all the families who have lost their loved ones. We will not leave anyone behind to face these difficulties alone."
