Today a magnitude 5.1 earthquake on the Richter scale occurred in the Maluku region of Indonesia. According to the American Geological Institute, the epicenter of the earthquake was located at a distance of 249 kilometers from the Tanimbar islands in this area, at a depth of 10 kilometers.
So far, no information has been reported regarding possible material damage or human casualties as a result of this earthquake. Yesterday, a magnitude 5.8 earthquake on the Richter scale occurred in the Labuha area, also located in the Maluku region, without harm to people and property.
