"The Sultanate of Brunei announced today the impossibility of confirming the visibility of the moon of Ramadan in the evening, therefore the first day of fasting in the country will be on Sunday, March 2, 2025." - such a statement was issued from Brunei.
Similarly, the authorities responsible for observing the appearance of the moon of Ramadan in the Philippines announced that Sunday, March 2, will be the first day of the holy month of Ramadan in 2025.
Malaysia also announced that Sunday, March 2, will mark the beginning of the month of Ramadan. Many countries continue the observation process in accordance with astronomical and legal standards, and the official announcement of the beginning of the holy month will be made in each country in accordance with the decisions of the relevant bodies.
