He was accompanied during the visit by Abdullah Salem Al-Zaabi, the UAE's Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia, as well as the non-resident Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). At the outset of the visit, the UAE-Indonesia Strategic Economic Dialogue was held, co-chaired by Suhail Al-Mazrouei and Ruslan Rizali, Indonesia's Minister of Investment and CEO of the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA). The event saw the wide participation of senior officials from government bodies and the private sector, as well as a business elite from both countries. The discussion of investment plans focused on prospects for expanding cooperation in the fields of renewable energy, industrial transformation, and waste management.
