Indonesia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Thursday that President Prabowo Subianto will attend the inaugural meeting of the Peace Council, launched by US President Donald Trump, scheduled to take place in the United States on February 19. According to ministry spokesman Fahd Nabil Ahmad Molachila, Prabowo will utilize the Peace Council to advocate for Palestinian rights, promote Gaza's reconstruction, and push for a sustainable peace for Palestine based on a two-state solution. The Indonesian government also stated that Prabowo is expected to sign a free trade agreement with the United States during the visit.
