In a shocking incident that rocked Indonesian society, a woman was killed after her 12-year-old daughter stabbed her 26 times with a kitchen knife inside their home in Medan city on North Sumatra. Police reports from Medan in North Sumatra stated that the perpetrator was inspired by crime details from the popular game "Roblox," specifically the "Murder Mystery" mode, as well as being influenced by the anime series "Detective Conan." The crime occurred in the early hours of the morning when the girl woke up before her mother, 42-year-old Fasya Surya. The girl went to the kitchen and took a large meat knife, then removed her clothes to avoid getting bloodstained, in a deliberate attempt to prevent her clothes from being stained and to ensure no evidence incriminated her, a method that mimics the hiding techniques shown in games and detective stories. Nevertheless, the girl continued to stab until the number reached 26, while her older sister (16 years old) tried to get their father, who was on the upper floor, for help, but the mother died from her injuries before medical assistance arrived.
